Becoming a Licensed Therapist

LifeSTAR Network is a national association of licensed therapists dedicated to helping sexual addicts and their partners. Our licensees are committed and caring individuals who have expanded their private practices to incorporate our innovative and highly successful treatment program. Candidates for membership in the network should have an entrepreneurial spirit, a willingness to learn, a desire to work with sexual addicts and their families, and an interest in expanding their private practice. It is also beneficial, though not necessarily required, for candidates to have a background in addiction therapy-particularly sexual addiction therapy.

As a licensed LifeSTAR therapist, you will be joining a team of successful, caring professionals. You will have the opportunity to share your ideas and also to learn from the other therapists in the network, and you will benefit from continued training in the field of sexual addiction recovery. You will also receive:
  • Online access to inservice lessons, presentations, network forums, and a wealth of other valuable material provided to assist you in your private practice
  • Your own web page on our website
  • Client referrals from our website and national marketing campaign
  • Your own geographic territory for client referrals
  • Great discounts on all LifeSTAR products, including client workbooks and other tools designed specifically to support the LifeSTAR program
In applying to become a licensed LifeSTAR therapist, you must provide the following:
  • A copy of your professional license (candidates must be licensed therapists)
  • Three professional references
  • Proof of liability and malpractice insurance
  • A resume (specifying any training or certifications)
